Sandip Roy’s debut novel Don’t Let Him Know which was longlisted for the DSC South Asian prize and the Green Carnation Prize in the UK and won the APALA honour title for Asian Pacific American Awards for Literature in 2015 in the USA and the Likho prize in India. His journalism has appeared in The New York Times, The San Francisco Chronicle, The Guardian, Salon.com, Mint Lounge, Economic Times, The San Jose Mercury News, Firstpost, Huffington Post, The Wire and other outlets. He has been a commentator for National Public Radio in the US and the BBC World Service. His radio podcasts air weekly on public radio in San Francisco on KALW 91.7FM. He currently lives in Kolkata.
