For the first time this year, MILAP will host events exclusively for children. Encouraging children to engage with the arts requires focused programming and curation that caters to different age groups stimulating their curiosities and interests.
Fifty registered children will participate in two workshops held by Gillo Foundation. There will be a section in the Book Fair that will solely display books by various publishers that specialise in literature for young readers.
Gillo Foundation: Gillo Foundation’s Theatre Repertory works in Theatre for Young Audiences (TYA), creating performing arts experiences that engage children and young adults with theatre in particular and the arts in general. Their work creates opportunities for children to develop deep and life-long connections with the arts. Since 2010 they have produced 17 plays, staged over 350 shows, conducted workshops and reached over 80000 children and young people through our work.
